BINAMED® is a recognized and registered medical device manufacturer.

For its silver textiles, a silver thread is knitted into the fabric using an EU-patented process so that 100% of the silver thread is positioned on the side of the textile facing the skin.

Despite the high proportion of silver thread used, BINAMED® medical silver textiles are soft and comfortable against the skin.

This is ensured by the ultra-soft micro-modal fiber derived from domestically sourced cellulose.

The textiles are able to transport moisture quickly and efficiently away from the body. This allows even weeping skin areas affected by atopic dermatitis to recover gently.

Most products in the BINAMED® silver textile range are seamless, helping to prevent additional skin irritation.

For the newly developed range of silky-soft scratch-protection garments – which do not contain silver thread – an extra-fine micro-modal yarn is used.

The products are designed for a precise fit and are also largely seamless.
