Itch-Relieving and Skin-Protective Special Textiles by BINAMED®

Material

BINAMED® special textiles are made from two different types of yarn: micro modal fibre yarn and silver yarn.

The micro modal fibre used is an exceptionally soft, natural fibre that is combined with a polyamide yarn coated with pure silver using a specialised manufacturing process. Thanks to the unique knitting technology, the silver yarn is positioned on the inside of the textile, allowing the silver to come into direct contact with the skin.

The knitting technology used in this process is patented.

Manufacturing and Design

The gloves, socks, arm warmers and knee warmers in the BINAMED® special textile range provide exceptional comfort thanks to their seamless construction.

The shirts and leggings also feature only a minimal number of seams. These seams are soft, flat and positioned on the outside of the garment to maximise comfort and help prevent skin irritation and pressure points.

All textiles are made from soft, elastic materials.

To ensure dimensional stability, all textiles are pre-washed and retain their shape during use without shrinking.

Benefits of BINAMED® Silver Textiles

BINAMED® textiles are known for their excellent temperature-regulating properties, achieved through the use of micro modal fibres. The breathable fibres help transport moisture away from the skin while reducing heat build-up.

BINAMED® silver textiles are manufactured without the use of nanotechnology and are not coated.

Thanks to the sophisticated manufacturing process and ergonomic fit, the textiles are exceptionally comfortable to wear.

All BINAMED® textiles can be machine washed at 60°C without detergent.

• OEKO-TEX® certification (verification that the textiles are free from harmful substances)
• Antimicrobial certification (Hohenstein Research Institute)
• Certified wearer comfort (Hohenstein Research Institute)
• Certified Class I Medical Device (CE certification)
