The special knitting technology used in BINAMED® medical silver textiles is designed to optimize the effect of the silver.

Yarn coated with pure silver (999 sterling silver) is integrated in a way that places the silver on the inside of the textile only. With the same amount of silver, BINAMED® silver textiles therefore provide more direct skin contact with silver than conventional silver yarn.

The second knitted fiber, micromodal, ensures that BINAMED® textiles remain soft and lightweight. It is also highly breathable, skin-friendly, and suitable for allergy-prone skin. A small amount of Lycra makes the textiles elastic and smooth, ensuring optimal skin contact for relief.

BINAMED® shirts, leggings, bodysuits, and overalls are designed without scratchy labels; instead, all necessary information is sewn in. Stand-up collars protect the neck area, while integrated hand straps prevent sleeves from riding up, especially during the night.

Gloves, socks, arm warmers, and leg warmers are knitted completely seamless for maximum comfort.
