Instructions on care and use

To ensure that your Binamed® special textiles retain their itch-prevention effect, a few simple care and handling guidelines are to be observed:

	When washing Binamed® special textiles, always use mild detergent and make sure the maximum temperature does not exceed 60°C. A higher temperature is not necessary due to the anti-bacterial properties of the special textiles. Do not use disinfectants or cleaning agents containing chlorine. Do not use fabric softener.
	Never bleach Binamed® special textiles and do not let them come into contact with chlorine.  Chlorine damages the silver coating and causes it to lose its function.
	Under no circumstances should you put Binamed® special textiles into a clothes dryer, as the sensitive surface of the special textiles could be damaged in the event of direct contact with heat.
	Always only iron Binamed® special textiles at a lukewarm temperature and without steam, as the sensitive surface of the special textiles is destroyed in the event of direct contact with heat.
	Never chemically clean Binamed® special textiles.

Important note: During and before wearing, do not apply lotion, as a layer of lotion between the skin and the textile prevents the anti-microbial effect!

• Wash Binamed® special textiles before wearing them. Wash every two to three days.
• Binamed® special textiles are not allowed to ever come into direct contact with electrical sockets, equipment and in particular electrical heat 
  sources (e. g. electric blankets, hairdryers etc.) as silver is very conductive of heat and electricity.
• Binamed® special textiles are not allowed to ever come into contact with metal objects (e. g. metal clothes hangers) when wet.
• The manufacturer is not liable for damage/injuries, which occur due to improper handling or misuse.
