Care and Usage Instructions
To ensure that your BINAMED® special textiles retain their itch-relieving properties, please follow the care and handling instructions below:
Washing
When washing BINAMED® special textiles, always use a mild detergent and make sure the washing temperature does not exceed 60°C. Higher temperatures are not necessary due to the textiles’ antibacterial properties.
Do not use disinfectants, chlorine-based cleaning agents, or fabric softener.
Bleaching
Never bleach BINAMED® special textiles or allow them to come into contact with chlorine.
Chlorine damages the silver coating and impairs its functionality.
Tumble Drying
Do not tumble dry BINAMED® special textiles under any circumstances, as direct heat may damage the sensitive surface of the material.
Ironing
Only iron BINAMED® special textiles at a low temperature and without steam, as excessive heat may damage the sensitive textile surface.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean BINAMED® special textiles.
Important Notes
Do not apply lotion before or while wearing the textiles, as a layer of lotion between the skin and the fabric may reduce the antimicrobial effect.
Wash BINAMED® special textiles before first use.
The textiles should be washed every two to three days.
BINAMED® special textiles must not come into direct contact with electrical outlets, electrical devices, or heat sources (e.g. electric blankets or hair dryers), as silver is highly conductive of heat and electricity.
When wet, BINAMED® special textiles must not come into contact with metal objects such as metal clothes hangers.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injuries resulting from improper handling or misuse.
